Q: I created a Blogspot blog in Blogger and I wanted to make the right sidebar of it free from any gadgets. The question is how to create my own Blogger Template without the right sidebar?
A: There are a lot of things that you can do when it comes on designing your blog. The template designer is a powerful tool that will assist you on designing it. You can choose from a lot of layout options available for your blog in the template designer. There’s a layout that doesn’t have a right sidebar available for your blog.
As I create my own Blogger template design, I choose the one with right sidebar. And the sidebar has a single column on the top and double column below. This is just the layout that I think would be perfect on showing blog posts of this blog that would give readers more accessibility to the tutorials that I post.
When I create my own Blogger template design, I tried using that layout too. But it won’t fit for me. The appearance looks fine but I prefer to use the right sidebar of my blog to put my gadgets.
When I create my own Blogger template design, I try many thinks to make my blog unique to other free Blogspot Blogger blog. Here are some of the things that I tried:
- I changed the font of my blog
- I removed the Navbar of my blog
- I changed the font color of my blog
- I tried using the inverted color style of blog
So that’s the way I create my own Blogger template design. And right now, this design of my blog will change soon. I still on the process of studying how to make a Blogspot Blog more interesting, so there’s a lot of changes that might happen in the future.
